Admission Requirements,
Fees, and Scholarships
At the Munir Arshad Memorial schools and college, induction of new students is made at four levels: Nursery/Prep, Class-6, Class-9 and First year. Parents wishing to admit their children are required to fill the Admission Form and bring their child for a test and interview. If approved for admission, the form is signed by the Principal and student is admitted after payment of the requisite fee.
[A] Nursery and Prep Class Admission
An informal test is taken combined with interview. Generally the vocabulary and concepts of color and numbers are assessed.
[B] Class 6 and 9 Admission
Test is in three subjects – Urdu, English, and Mathematics to gauge the student’s aptitude in basic subjects. If successful in the test, the child is interviewed by the Principal.
[C] College Admission:
Students who have appeared in Matriculation exam and expect to pass in first or second division can apply for admission in Intermediate Arts/Science (F.A, F.Sc), I-Com, or I-C classes. They are interviewed by the Principal, and given conditional admission subject to Matriculation result.
Documents Required for Admission
a) Copy of School Leaving Certificate & Character Certificate from the School last attended.
b) Attested copy of Birth Certificate.
c) Two recent passport size photographs.
Fees and Scholarships
MAMT is a welfare institution located in an area with a predominantly poor population. Hence admission and tuition fees have been kept minimal. These are reviewed annually. Orphans are not charged any tuition fee; it is paid by the Trust on their behalf.
Merit Scholarship Scheme
Moreover, outstanding academic achievements are rewarded through a Merit Scholarship,awarded to students who do exceptionally well in their exams.
